Legal and Ethical Guidelines For Artwork Or Designs

Wannaink.com has a clear set of rules to help you ensure your designs are legally safe and ethically sound. Whether it’s a logo, text or image, we ensure the designs we print align with copyright, trademark and ethical standards. Let’s break it down into legal guidelines and ethical guidelines, so you know exactly what is and isn’t allowed when uploading artwork.

Legal Guidelines: What You Can and Can’t Upload

Before uploading a design to our platform, make sure you have the full rights to use it. This means you must own the design or have permission from the rightful owner. Here are some key legal guidelines you must follow:

  • No Official Merchandise: We can’t print logos, names, or designs from any company or brand associated with official merchandise. If the artwork is protected by copyright or trademark, you can’t upload it.
  • No Musical Artists’ Intellectual Property: This includes logos, names, and any artwork associated with music artists, bands, or related musical groups.
  • No Sports Teams or Leagues: You can’t upload designs related to intellectual property tied to sports teams or leagues, including IPL, CPL, ISL, or famous teams like Mumbai Indians or FC Barcelona.
  • No TV, Movie, or Comic Characters: Designs involving characters from TV shows, movies, video games, cartoons, or comic books are prohibited.
  • No Trademarks or Logos from Other Companies: For example, you can’t use designs like the Coca-Cola logo or its slogans such as “It’s the Real Thing.”

If you are not sure about whether your design qualifies as legally acceptable, double-check or reach out for permission before uploading it. It’s always better to be safe than sorry!

Ethical Guidelines: What We Won’t Print

We take the ethical guidelines very seriously at Wannaink. We want to make sure that your designs don’t just follow the law—they should also respect the values of our community. Here are the ethical rules for artwork submissions:

  • No Violent Content: Designs that glorify violence or incite harm in any way are strictly prohibited.
  • No Disrespectful Material: Any design that mocks, disrespects, or offends others based on their gender, religion or political affiliation is not allowed.

We believe that creativity should inspire positivity and respect for others. Let’s keep it that way!
