There are many advantages of having custom clothing labels! Brand recognition is a big one. Creating a branding story is important when considering which clothing labels are right for your creations.
Custom Clothing Labels that make your brand stand out
Clothing labels are the foremost common and economical way of identifying your garments. Everything we do is 100% customized, ensuring that your logo, lettering, and colors are woven as precisely as possible. Whether you’re a longtime company or a fresh start-up, we will assist you in branding your items with a woven label that will suit your needs and budget.
Custom Woven Labels:
Different types of custom woven labels are: Satin Labels, Damask Labels, and Taffeta Labels
There are various types of folds or cuts that you need to consider when creating the woven label that’s best for you and your brand. There is an additional charge for the additional or multi-fold.
Straight Cut or Heat Cut
No Folds. Straight-cut labels are usually sewn on two or all four sides.
End Fold
Folded down on the left & right side to create a softer edge.
Mitre Fold
The ends are folded under & up, creating a tab to be sewn into a seam.
Center End Fold
Folded in the middle & ends, mainly used on the outer hems of tops.
Manhattan Fold
Similar to a center-fold label, except the top of the label is folded down, creates a flap to tuck the bottom fold into.
Center Fold
Folded in the middle & usually sewn into a seam. We can also use it for sleeve and hem labels.
Die Cut
Wannaink can cut your label to a custom shape of your choice. A die-cut can be made on the outer shape as well as inside the label.
Overlock Stitch
Create a high-quality woven patch with an overlock stitch on the rim of the woven label.
Heat Transfer Labels
Heat Transfer labels also referred to as “tag-less tags,” are an excellent option for customers who want to brand their clothing without the bulk of a woven or printed label.
The heat transfer tags are PMS color with flexographic color or ink. They’re silk-screened onto a transparent velum backing & come pre-cut & ready to use. Heat transfer labels are best on sporty t-shirts, sportswear, or baby items like newborn bodysuits. The heat transfers are easy to use with regular household iron or an industrial heat press (recommended for best results).
The heat transfers are very high quality & stand up many washes without fading or chipping away.
Why choose heat transfer labels?
Many people worry about their customers cutting their brand labels out of the garment. However, with heat transfers, your branding stays for many washes, and nobody can rip them out! Additionally, we’ve many customers using heat transfer labels as graphics on their clothing or products.
Infant or Baby Clothes
If you’re making baby clothes, especially for newborns, soft woven, or printed labels, work very well & are often used. However, if you’re concerned about a few labels rubbing against an infant’s skin, then a heat transfer label is best.
If you like the look of a woven label, you may put a heat transfer within the neck area and a woven label on the outside trim.
Athletic or Workout Gear
For athletic or workout clothes, a woven label can potentially irritate someone’s skin during lots of activity. Heat transfer labels eliminate this problem & are very fashionable in athletic & workout gear manufacturing.
